# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt together in a medium bowl.
03 - In a large bowl, cream unsalted butter and granulated sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Incorporate eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
04 - Gradually blend dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
05 - Fold chopped dried apples and caramel candies into the dough.
06 - Divide dough in half. Shape each portion into a log approximately 12 inches long and 2 inches wide on the prepared baking sheet. Slightly flatten each log.
07 - Bake for 25 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let logs cool for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F.
08 - Using a serrated knife, slice logs diagonally into 3/4-inch thick dunkers. Place cut sides down onto baking sheet.
09 - Bake for an additional 12 minutes, flip, and bake 8 to 10 minutes longer until crisp and dry. Cool completely on a wire rack.
10 - If desired, drizzle cooled dunkers with caramel sauce before serving.
