01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper to prevent sticking.
02 - In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the white chocolate or candy melts in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each session until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
03 - Carefully dip each pretzel rod about two-thirds of the way into the melted chocolate, gently tapping off any excess coating.
04 - Place the coated pretzel rods on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them to prevent touching.
05 - Before the chocolate sets, press two mini chocolate chips near the top of each pretzel to create eyes, then add one regular chocolate chip or a dot of black gel icing beneath for the mouth.
06 - Leave the decorated pretzels at room temperature or refrigerate for approximately 20 minutes, until the chocolate is firm.
07 - Transfer the finished pretzels to an airtight container for serving or storage.
