# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F.
02 - In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook for 3 minutes until translucent.
03 - Stir in diced ham and cook for 2 minutes. Add chopped spinach and halved cherry tomatoes; cook for about 1 minute until the spinach wilts.
04 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, salt, black pepper, and thyme. Fold in half of the shredded Swiss cheese.
05 - Pour the egg mixture over the ham and vegetables in the skillet. Sprinkle the remaining Swiss cheese evenly over the top.

07 - Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the center is puffed and fully set.
08 - Remove from oven. Allow to cool briefly, then slice and serve warm or at room temperature.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • You can swap out veggies or cheese based on what’s left in your fridge without compromising flavor or texture.
  • It’s a sneakily impressive dish that makes guests think you spent ages in the kitchen, but cleanup takes less than a song.
02 -
  • If your skillet isn’t truly oven-safe, the frittata will stick or burn—I learned that battling a mess one rainy night.
  • Adding cheese both inside and on top makes every bite creamy and prevents the surface from drying.
03 -
  • Let onions truly soften before adding ham; it makes a sweeter base.
  • Use a flexible spatula to loosen edges before slicing—it prevents sticking and tearing slices.
