11 - 2 tbsp green onions, thinly sliced
12 - 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
13 - Steamed rice or cooked noodles, for serving

# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
02 - Pat shrimp dry and season evenly with kosher salt and black pepper.
03 - Warm vegetable or sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
04 - Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the skillet and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque, working in batches to avoid overcrowding.
05 - Pour prepared sauce over shrimp, stirring to coat. Cook for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens and shrimp are cooked through.
06 - Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately over steamed rice or noodles.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • The sauce comes together in minutes but tastes like it simmered for hours
  • Its faster than delivery and infinitely more impressive
  • The glaze coats everything perfectly so every bite is flavorful
02 -
  • Overcrowding the pan steams the shrimp instead of searing them, so cook in batches if necessary
  • The sauce continues to thicken as it cools slightly, so do not overcook it
  • Dry shrimp sear better, so do not skip the paper towel step
03 -
  • Mince the garlic and grate the ginger before you start cooking because everything moves fast once the pan is hot
  • Taste the sauce before adding it to the pan and adjust the sweetness or heat to your preference
  • Use a large skillet so the shrimp have room to sear instead of steam
